Cloudless Meadow provides warehouse rental and storage services throughout the United Kingdom, including but not limited to:
- Short-term and long-term warehouse space rental
- Climate-controlled storage facilities
- Distribution center services
- Related logistics and support services
3. Rental Agreements
3.1 Contract Formation
A separate written rental agreement will govern the specific terms of your warehouse rental, including:
- Rental period and renewal terms
- Rental rates and payment terms
- Specific facility details and access provisions
- Insurance and liability requirements
- Permitted and prohibited uses
3.2 Minimum Terms
Unless otherwise specified in your rental agreement:
- Short-term rentals have a minimum period of 1 month
- Early termination may result in penalties as specified in the rental agreement
- Automatic renewal clauses may apply unless proper notice is given
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Rental Payments
Rental payments are due in advance according to the schedule specified in your rental agreement. Accepted payment methods include:
- Bank transfer (preferred method)
- Direct debit arrangements
- Company check (subject to approval)
- Credit card (for applicable services)
4.2 Late Payments
Late payments may result in:
- Late fees as specified in your rental agreement
- Suspension of access to the rented premises
- Termination of the rental agreement
- Legal action to recover outstanding amounts
4.3 Security Deposits
A security deposit may be required equal to one or more months' rent, depending on the rental agreement terms. The deposit will be returned within 30 days of lease termination, minus any deductions for damages or unpaid charges.
5. Use of Premises
5.1 Permitted Uses
The rented warehouse space may only be used for:
- Legal commercial storage purposes
- Activities specifically permitted in your rental agreement
- Uses that comply with local zoning laws and regulations
- Operations that do not create excessive noise, odors, or safety hazards
5.2 Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Storage of hazardous, toxic, or illegal materials (unless specifically authorized)
- Manufacturing or processing activities (unless specifically permitted)
- Residential use or overnight accommodation
- Activities that violate local laws or regulations
- Subleasing or assigning space without written consent
- Blocking fire exits or emergency access routes
6. Insurance and Liability
6.1 Customer Insurance Requirements
Customers must maintain adequate insurance coverage, including:
- General liability insurance with minimum coverage of £1,000,000
- Property insurance covering stored goods and equipment
- Workers' compensation insurance (if applicable)
- Professional indemnity insurance (for certain business types)
6.2 Company Liability
Cloudless Meadow's liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for damage to or loss of customer's goods except in cases of gross negligence
- Our maximum liability is limited to the annual rental fee for the affected space
- We are not liable for business interruption or consequential damages
- Force majeure events excuse performance of obligations
7. Security and Access
7.1 Access Hours
Standard access hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Extended or 24/7 access may be available by arrangement.
7.2 Security Measures
Our facilities include:
- 24/7 CCTV monitoring
- Controlled access systems
- Regular security patrols
- Fire detection and suppression systems
- Intruder alarm systems
7.3 Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Maintaining confidentiality of access codes and keys
- Reporting security breaches immediately
- Ensuring authorized personnel only access the premises
- Following all security procedures and protocols
8. Maintenance and Modifications
8.1 Company Maintenance
We are responsible for:
- Structural maintenance of the building
- Common area cleaning and upkeep
- HVAC system maintenance (for climate-controlled units)
- Security system maintenance
- Compliance with building codes and regulations
8.2 Customer Modifications
Any modifications to the rented space require written approval and may include:
- Installation of additional lighting or electrical fixtures
- Construction of mezzanine or additional storage areas
- Installation of specialized equipment or systems
- Removal requirements upon lease termination
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by Customer
Customers may terminate the rental agreement by providing:
- Written notice as specified in the rental agreement (typically 30-90 days)
- Payment of all outstanding charges
- Removal of all goods and restoration of the premises
- Early termination fees (if applicable)
9.2 Termination by Company
We may terminate the rental agreement for:
- Non-payment of rent or other charges
- Violation of rental agreement terms
- Illegal use of the premises
- Failure to maintain required insurance
- Breach of safety or security protocols
10. Data Protection and Privacy
Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or severe weather
- Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
- Labor disputes, strikes, or work stoppages
- Acts of terrorism or civil unrest
- Utility failures or infrastructure problems
- Pandemic or health emergencies
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any rental agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiations between the parties
- Mediation through a mutually agreed mediator

These Terms may be modified by Cloudless Meadow at any time with 30 days' written notice to customers. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any specific rental agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements.
